A woman who escaped domestic violence is currently 32 weeks pregnant and experiencing a high risk pregnancy that has lead her to being bed-ridden. After being homeless with her 10 year old son, she has secured housing but does not have any household essentials to help her and her kids get established. Koinonia would love to collect these items to give to the family to make this pregnancy and transition a little bit easier.

This young person has been working through persistent bedwetting, and their current mattress is no longer usable. Laundry is a daily necessity, which has led to the family's current washer and dryer breaking down. Without an in-home washer and dryer, it has become overwhelming for the family to keep up. A new mattress would give this youth a fresh, comfortable place to sleep, and having access to laundry at home would make a huge difference in maintaining cleanliness and easing stress for both the child and their parents. Any help toward meeting these needs would mean so much and truly help bring comfort, stability, and dignity to their daily life.
