What if getting help felt less like navigating a system—and more like having a caring person in your corner?

The Alliance Community Care Team is a brand-new program designed to bring a more human touch to connecting vulnerable kids and families with the resources they need.

Think of it as a humanized version of 211. When an at-risk child, family, or community member reaches out to The Alliance for help, we’ll connect them with a trained Resource Coordinator—a caring volunteer who can listen, help identify their needs, navigate local resources, and walk alongside them toward solutions.

We’re partnering with CityServeX to become one of 100 cities nationwide offering coordinated, compassionate care management—connecting people with the right resources while making sure they don't have to navigate difficult circumstances alone.

Become a Resource Coordinator

Resource Coordinators aren't superheroes. They're everyday people equipped with the right training,

smart tools, and a whole lot of heart.

With support from The Alliance and our partners, Resource Coordinators will help people in our community navigate tough circumstances, connect with free or low-cost local resources, set achievable goals, and provide encouragement along the way.

What does it look like?

The Commitment

Volunteer 2+ hours per week to field calls and connect with people. Serve for at least one year.

The Tools

Use your phone and computer, with the option to meet with individuals and families face-to-face.

The Impact

Help bring stability, support, and healing to people in need - one person or family at a time.

You don't need to have all the answers. You just need to care, be willing to learn, and be ready to help someone take their next step.

Ready to Make a Difference?

Become a Resource Coordinator and help us build a community where no youth or family

has to navigate a crisis alone.
