AboutKidz is a 501(c)(3) organization established to meet the practical needs for underprivileged children in our communities in an effort to create equal opportunities for academic and athletic excellence. We focus on addressing the most basic needs of low-income and at-risk children in order to make the biggest impact on families in our community.

Acres of Hope provides a safe family environment and a healthy living program for women with children that sets the foundation of change and breaks the cycle of homelessness.

Aging UP's mission is to empower youth with experience in foster care to successfully transition into adulthood. They accomplish this mission through three pillar support services of one-to-one mentoring, positive recreation and independent living skills. Services are available to youth between the ages of 13 and 19 who reside within the greater Sacramento region.

All Access Church Consulting is passionate about helping churches warmly welcome those experiencing disability. They believe EVERYONE deserves equal access to JESUS. The body of Christ is not complete until those with special needs - the poor, the crippled, the blind, and the lame - are fully included spiritually, physically, and relationally 'so His house may be full'.

For the past 42 years our non-profit women's health clinic in Sacramento, CA, has provided women with free medical care and alternatives to abortion as we've proclaimed the hope of the Gospel. Our brand new state-of-the-art OB/GYN medical practice offers free comprehensive medical care, abortion healing, and material resources to those in need. We believe women deserve alternatives to abortion clinics and a place that will not financially benefit from any choice they make. This is why Alternatives exist.

ASPIREKids builds resilience by providing access to extracurricular and normalcy activities to at-risk and low income children. To make this possible they partner with various youth and family service providers in El Dorado, Sacramento and Placer Counties. 

Blossom Place offers housing, support, and resources to young women aging out of the foster care system and other at-risk youth. Blossom provides information and skills to girls without the support of a family to not just live life, but to live it well, with purpose and joy.

The Bridge Network is about bridging people & needs together, especially those who are the most marginalized ages 7 to 26 years. They provide mentoring, case management, wellness, workforce development and operate a youth center in Northern California. Their 3 focus areas called P.I.E., Prevention, Intervention & Education.

California Alliance of Caregivers (CAC) represents the voices of relative and non-relative caregivers (resource families) to promote the well-being of children in foster care.

Capital Community Athletics offers hope through athletics for refugee youth, seeking to unite neighbors from around the world and across the street. Our programs include boys' and girls' soccer, boys' cricket, and a girls' run team.

CASA Placer is a bridge between the most vulnerable in our community and caring individuals who want to help. They run the local Court Appointed Special Advocates program, where they hire and train volunteers within he community to advocate for foster children in the court, to prevent abused, neglected, abandoned and at-risk children from becoming lost in the Juvenile Dependency and/or Delinquency Court system.

Compassion Planet empowers aged-out foster youth and at-risk youth to overcome personal obstacles, achieve independence and reach their fullest potential.  They accomplish this through a one-year Mentoring Program which includes over 1,200 hours of life skills coaching, personal mentoring, group processing and work experience in trauma informed environments. Employment in their multi-site enterprises, such as Deer Creek Farm and Compassion Thrift, provide the essential building blocks to realizing their dream of independence.

Daughters of Zion (DOZ) Enterpryz is a non-profit organization dedicated to
building healthy individuals and families in low income, under-represented, and disadvantaged
communities while closing the gap on homelessness and food deprivation. DOZ has been a cornerstone and vital part of the South Sacramento Community for over 15 years and their mission is to prepare youth and adults to be leaders and change agents within our communities and implement local initiatives to reduce barriers and enhance an individual's ability to succeed.

Delta Prevention exists to empower families by strengthening their skills and helping them build strong, healthy relationships, navigate stressful life challenges and manage communication and behavioral problems.

Destiny Community Center provides health and wellness resources to families in the Greater Sacramento community in the areas of Education, Arts, Family Care and Fitness. All classes and workshops are offered FREE of charge or at a discounted rate! Services are offered on-site at the center and throughout the Greater Sacramento region at local parks and school campuses.

Dress 2 S.O.A.R. is a program that engages at-risk foster youth, to overcome their relationship/trust issues, and educate them through apparel and fashion to stand taller and build their confidence. They hold style and character workshops for 20-30 foster teens where stylists give them the tools to look and feel confident interviewing for a job, teaching them to dress for the workplace, and understanding the character traits that help them keep a job.

EveryONE Matters Ministries exists to alleviate and prevent homelessness through a faith-based transitional housing program including services and resources that aim to provide hope of a thriving future for families and individuals.

Today many men have grown up without their dad being active in the lives in a positive way, leaving them with a sense of abandonment, repressed anger and difficulty with faith in God. Forging Disciples exists to encourage and equip men to be Christ-like servant leaders in their home, church and community by expanding one on one discipleship in our region.

Fostering Success and Significance (FSS) is a nonprofit organization that works with former foster youth to help students navigate college and successfully transition into the workforce. They provide youth with scholarships, personal development books, mental health counseling, life and career coaching, advocates, and more!

The Gathering Inn provides homeless women, men and families the dignity and support they need to become active members of our community. TGI offers a complete continuum of housing and supportive services for homeless individuals which include mental health services, education and training as well as resources for daily living along with compassion and encouragement.

Reuniting families through education and offering courses in MIC (Men, Infants and Children), co-parenting, anger management, male engagement/male ambassador program, KIND (Kids in Need of Diversion), teen classes, and a certified 52 week batterers class. 

The mission of the Heart Gallery of Sacramento is to improve the lives of children in foster care by promoting permanency and adoption primarily through a collection of portraits of children waiting for adoption or guardianship in Sacramento County. The portraits, which help to capture the spirit and personality of each child, are displayed within our community to raise awareness and recruit permanent adoptive families.

Heart to Heart provides adoptive families in the Greater Sacramento area (domestic and international) with skills and resources as well as give them opportunities to build relationships with other adoptive parents facing similar parenting issues, thus preventing adoption disruption. Heart to Heart provides on going parent training and education with structured child care by trained caregivers free of charge. 

Hearts Landing Ranch restores lives through rescued horses. Their primary goal is to Build a Community to Reach a Community. Hearts Landing ministers to the needs of the hurting and broken using a ranch environment, gardening and horses to expose youth to the truth of God's love and purpose for their lives. 

HOPE Worldwide is an international charity that changes lives through the compassion and commitment of dedicated staff and volunteers to deliver sustainable, high-impact, community-based services to the materially poor and needy. Sacramento Metro Church, located in Carmichael, hosts a chapter of HOPE Worldwide to serve in the greater Sacramento area.

Joni and Friends Central California envisions a world where every person with a disability finds hope, dignity, and their place in the body of Christ. They seek to glorify God as they communicate the Gospel and mobilize the local and global church to evangelize, disciple and serve people living with disabilities.

Kastles4Hope is a 501 (c) (3) charitable organization offering a safe and supportive environment that empowers aged-out foster youth and human-trafficked individuals to rebuild their lives and pursue their goals. Collaborating with partners to provide comprehensive support services is also essential for addressing the diverse needs of this vulnerable population.

Lighthouse Counseling & Family Resource Center helps individuals and families heal by providing counseling, educational classes, and easy access to resources. Their vision is to build healthy families and communities.

Mercy Multiplied is a nonprofit Christian organization that helps young women break free from life controlling behaviors and situations, including eating disorders, self-harm, drug and alcohol addictions, unplanned pregnancy, depression, sexual abuse, and sex trafficking. Their residential program is voluntary, biblically based, and completely free of charge to young women ages 13-32. Their goal is to help residents permanently stop destructive cycles, discover purpose for their lives, and become productive and thriving individuals.

The sole purpose of Our Healing Forest, is to create a positive impact and uplift our rising generation, by offering them confidence building activities and necessary life-skills in the healing environment of our treehouse village retreat in the forest.

The Overcome Project aims to establish youth facility that are easily accessible, providing classes and guidance to empower local youth against the prevailing Fentanyl and Methamphetamine epidemic in our communities implementing our approach, the "5 Pillars" program, focusing on Spiritual Growth, Building a Supportive Community, Achieving Physical and Mental Health, Living a Substance-Free Life, and Promoting Love and Service to Others.

The Parent Cooperative Community exists to serve and preserve adoptive families. Their mission at PCC is to provide the resources, training, and support necessary to cooperatively assist adoptive families with children whose histories of institutionalization, abuse, neglect and multiple placements have rendered them unable to benefit from the services of other more traditional community providers.

Powerhouse Ministries exists to inspire and empower people to rise above their circumstances, change their lives, and impact their community. Serving families and individuals struggling with addiction, abuse, and poverty with love and grace.

Redemption Youth Ranch is a safe, nurturing, and positive environment for hurting youth and their families to experience hope and healing through the redemptive love of Jesus.
They pair each child with a caring mentor and an outdoor activity (horses, archery, fishing, art, games) that will encourage the youth to grow and heal.

Refuge & Strength exists to empower refugees to thrive in the community. Their vision is to see refugees empowered to live healthy, thriving lives in the local community through education, and access to relevant resources.

The Roseville Police Activities League's mission is to enrich the lives of Roseville youth by building positive relationships between youth, police officers, and the community through a broad range of accessible and affordable activities.

The Sacramento Life Center is a licensed and accredited community health clinic whose mission is to offer free pregnancy and health related services, along with community resources and referrals in a confidential and compassionate life-affirming environment. founded in 1972 we are committed to ensuring that all women and teen, especially those who are pregnant and lacking support have access to medical care and the resources they need to parent or make an adoption plan. We serve everyone regardless of race, religion or income. All services are FREE.

Safe Haven SHARE (Assistance, Responsibility and Empowerment Program) assists women and children leaving domestic abuse, in the only long-term (5 year), structured program in the area. We aim to not only help in their escape, but to come alongside them as they navigate a new life, with support in all areas of their life for the following five years.

Safe Refuge for Children and Families provides short term care for children of families in crisis. The main goal of the Safe Refuge Program is to keep children out of the foster care system and to help family units stay intact. Through temporary housing, church members can tangibly love their neighbors, practice hospitality, extend Christ-like compassion, and proclaim mercy to the most vulnerable in our communities.

SPH is a unique organization providing no-cost physical, emotional, and spiritual health care to women and families before, during, and after pregnancy. Their licensed medical professionals and the specially trained volunteer Patient Advocates provide pregnancy services, ultrasounds, STI testing and treatment, and nursing consultations. SPH also offers prenatal classes and parenting classes, as well as maternal and infant assistance.

The Swing of Faith is bringing golf to fostered youth. They rent golf simulators and do lessons indoors or on the course.

The Taylor House is a safe transition home for former foster and at risk girls ages 18-24. They have the capacity to take eight girls at a time and focus on helping them build a strong foundation for the future.

​The Teams and Dreams Foundation aims to create opportunities and supportive services for foster children and adopted foster children to reach their dreams by providing access and funding for extracurricular and enrichment activities.

Unity Care was founded in 1993 and is proud of their journey caring for underserved youth and families for over two decades. Unity Care's housing programs provide current and former foster youth, including probation youth, ages 16-21 with safe, secure, and affordable housing while they focus on their emotional, educational, and employment goals.

World Relief is a global Christian humanitarian organization whose mission is to empower the local church to serve the most vulnerable. World Relief Sacramento comes alongside refugees and other immigrants in vulnerable situations as they rebuild their lives in the United States.

xHope's mission is to empower the at-risk child by providing hope, love, education, and a forever family. They partner with Redeemer House in Jinja, Uganda to see orphans rescued, loved, and placed in forever families through resettlement and foster care. Locally,  xHope advocates and provides essential supplies for children waiting to be placed in forever families through foster care and adoption.
