You'll keep one school's resource closet stocked and running — checking in every other week to note what students have taken, fill what's missing, and log visitor activity. It's a small, consistent commitment with real impact: when a kid shows up with what they need, it's because you showed up.

Many of these players come from war-torn countries and have experienced deep hardship and loss. Your presence on the field offers far more than a game; it offers hope, consistency, and a sense of belonging. As a CCA coach, you’ll do more than teach soccer; you’ll mentor refugee youth, helping them grow in character, sportsmanship, and both individual and team skills. CCA teams are led by coaches who love God and are committed to loving and encouraging each player. You’ll be part of creating a safe, welcoming space where refugee youth can thrive. Cross-cultural training and ongoing support from CCA staff are provided to equip and walk with you every step of the way.

Join us as we sort donations, fill Caring for Kids kits, wash and hang clothing, and prep for outreach events in our warehouse. With a small staff, we rely on volunteers to keep our programs running. We have regular volunteer hours on Wednesday from 10-1, however can also work with your schedule to coordinate.

By sharing your skills, you'll help families gain confidence, reduce transportation barriers, and build life-changing relationships through mentorship.

The Children’s Program provides a safe, nurturing, and trauma-informed environment for our youngest residents (ages 6-12) while their mothers attend classes, meetings, and complete program curriculum. This volunteer role supports the Children’s Program Coordinator and Assistant in creating a stable and caring atmosphere where children can learn, play, and heal. Volunteers help ensure each child feels seen, valued, and secure during their time in care.

You'll help bring community night to life — picking up donated clothes, shoes, and food ahead of the event, then leading a small team of volunteers through setup, kids' activities, dinner service, and cleanup. It's hands-on, it's relational, and the impact goes beyond a full bag or a warm meal. Families leave knowing their school community sees them, values them, and has their back — and that sense of belonging is something no one can put a price on.

Koinonia Family Services has a residential site for youth that is currently in need of having hard flooring put in.
