Request Description:

Youth transitioning from homelessness into their first independent apartment through the Transitional Housing Outreach (Homeless and Emeanciapted Foster Youth) program often move in with very few personal belongings or household items. Providing basic home essentials helps establish a safe, comfortable, and functional living environment while supporting long-term housing stability and successful independent living.

Requested Home Essentials may include:

Bed linens (sheets, pillows, blankets, comforter)
Bath towels and washcloths
Shower curtain and bath mat
Laundry hamper and clothing hangers
Trash cans and trash bags
Broom, mop, dustpan, and basic cleaning supplies
Vacuum (if available)
Laundry detergent and dish soap
Toilet paper and paper towels
Pots and pans
Cooking utensils
Plates, bowls, cups, and silverware
Food storage containers
Can opener and kitchen utensils
Microwave (if needed)
Coffee maker or electric kettle (if available)
Small dining table and chairs (if needed)
