Summer fun

Summer is all about relaxing, having fun, and making memories with family and friends. This can also be a great time to work on connection, communication skills, and character development with kids. Make this summer count by intentionally setting aside time to invest in the children in your life...because EVERY kid matters.

Follow along with us on social media as we highlight different themes of what kids need. Each week we'll share fresh ideas, interviews from local experts, top resources and family fun ideas that will make this summer healthy, engaging and FUN!

We know that summer screen time can be a battle between kids and parents. Click on the links below for a free “Screen Time Checklist” to help each family set healthy guidelines for the upcoming summer days. These checklists give daily tasks to be completed before gaining access to screens. It simplifies the process and empowers kids to make healthy choices and get their brains and bodies moving before watching TV or playing video games.
